Sihanoukville

Sihanoukville. What can I say. It was one of the the first things I saw of Cambodia, and it didn´t really put a good light on the whole country.

In fact, a friend and me played a game, trying to find things that are as comfy as that place. We ended up agreeing on "swimming in a sewage plant, while having your mouth opened."

No more words needed, the best part about it was leaving!

(We´re right now discussing on how much we can rant about that place. Well, the worst thing to happen would probably be an entry ban from Sihanoukville. I´d be looking forward to that, to be honest!)

Anyway, the main reason why I went there was to catch a boat to one of the Islands - Koh Rong Sanloem.

One useful tip, so that this post isn´t only about my emotional connection to Sihanoukville: You can get the boat tickets to any Island at the ferry terminal next to "Ou Chheuteal Beach" or ask at your hotel/hostel. Prices are the same, but you might get a free Tuk-Tuk to the pier when booking at the hostel.
